Job summary

UniFirst Corporation is seeking a reliable Maintenance Supervisor to ensure facility equipment runs efficiently and to identify improvements in maintenance processes and training for staff.

We offer on-the-job training with a standard Monday–Friday work week and periodic night and weekend overtime. The role requires leadership of the maintenance team and oversight of safety and compliance across shifts.

Qualifications

• Must have a minimum of 3 years repairing industrial processing equipment in a production environment.
• Minimum of 2 years supervising maintenance personnel is preferred.
• Maintenance administration experience including planning, scheduling, budgeting, vendor/parts management, and CMMS is required.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics is required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required.
• Lockout/Tagout experience is required.
• Must be able to lift up to 80 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose mechanical and electrical problems and determine corrective actions from blueprints and manuals.
• Inspect, operate, and test machinery to diagnose malfunctions.
• Perform basic welding to repair facilities and equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair PLCs and control systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance on facility and production assets.
• Follow blueprints and engineering specifications using a documentation schedule.
• Oversee and implement maintenance regulatory and environmental compliance.
• Ensure safety within the maintenance department.
• Monitor training and coordinate required sessions.
