Job summary

UniFirst seeks a Maintenance Supervisor to ensure facility equipment runs efficiently and to identify improvements in maintenance practices and training for staff. The role follows a Monday–Friday schedule with occasional night/weekend overtime and on-the-job training.

You will read blueprints, supervise maintenance personnel, manage budgets, plan, schedule, and ensure regulatory and safety compliance while developing the team.

Qualifications

• 3+ years repairing industrial processing equipment in a production environment.
• 2+ years supervising maintenance personnel.
• Maintenance administration including planning, scheduling, budgeting, vendor management.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CMMS.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose electrical and mechanical problems and determine corrective action.
• Inspect, operate, and test machinery to diagnose malfunctions.
• Perform preventive maintenance on facility and production assets.
• Troubleshoot PLCs and control systems.
• Manage budget for building, equipment, capital expenditures and parts/labor.
• Oversee safety and regulatory compliance within maintenance.
• Train and develop maintenance staff.
