Brookdale is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee building upkeep across multiple communities in the region. You will supervise routine maintenance, coordinate with vendors, and ensure safety compliance while delivering reliable service to residents.

Required are a high school diploma or GED, 1–2 years of related experience, and a valid state driver’s license. The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and operational efficiency within Brookdale’s standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years related maintenance experience.
• Valid State Driver’s License required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise scheduled maintenance on HVAC, elevator, fire and sprinkler equipment, generator, landscape, kitchen equipment and emergency systems.
• Respond to maintenance requests from residents for repairs in rooms.
• Maintain vacated rooms including painting and carpet cleaning; inspect work for standards.
• Ensure common areas are well maintained (walls, floors, doors, woodwork).
• Assist in training maintenance staff and coordinate with inspectors (fire marshal, elevator, etc.).
• Conduct in-service fire safety training for staff.
• Assess plumbing and electrical problems and act within local codes.
• Review SDS for hazardous chemicals and apply safety precautions.
• May supervise maintenance technicians and building engineers.
