Job summary

Brookdale is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee building and grounds operations across our Indiana communities. You will supervise a team, coordinate HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and safety tasks, and ensure compliance with codes and standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 1–2 years related experience and/or training.
• Valid State Driver’s License required for vehicle travel.
• Ability to supervise maintenance staff.

Responsibilities

• Supervises maintenance on HVAC, elevator, fire/sprinkler, generator, landscape, kitchen equipment.
• Responds to maintenance requests including plumbing, electrical, heating and lighting.
• Supervises repairs of vacated rooms; inspects work for quality and conformance to standards.
• Maintains walls, floors, doors, and woodwork in common areas; trains maintenance staff.
• Maintains communication with local authorities; conducts fire safety training for employees.
• Assesses problems and determines corrective actions within local/state codes.
