Job summary

Greystar Worldwide, LLC is seeking a Maintenance Technician to oversee and perform key building, grounds, and common area maintenance across a large garden-style community in Orlando. You will respond to service requests, lead the make-ready process, and ensure safety and quality across all tasks.

The role requires HVAC and general maintenance expertise, the ability to work evenings/weekends on a rotating on-call basis, and a commitment to Greystar standards. Competitive benefits apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or related experience and training.
• Experience in property management maintenance or related trade.
• Own hand tools and ability to use them safely.
• Ability to diagnose problems and apply logical thinking.

Responsibilities

• Handle resident service requests and routine upkeep, diagnosing issues and repairing per policies and safety standards.
• Oversee make-ready process for vacant units, schedule vendors, and ensure timely prep for leasing.
• Set standards for cleanliness and appearance of grounds, buildings, and common areas to reflect Greystar quality.
• Periodically inspect work by team members and contractors to ensure quality and compliance.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and coordinate with Community Manager on supplies and budgets.
• Perform monthly preventative maintenance tasks as outlined in manuals.
• Assist Community Manager in budgeting for repairs and capital projects.
• Support cost-control by repairing instead of replacing when feasible.
