Job summary

Greystar is seeking a property maintenance technician to uphold the community’s buildings, grounds, and common areas to Greystar standards. You will diagnose defects, complete tasks, and ensure safety and quality across the property.

Responsibilities include managing make-readies, coordinating vendors, and inspecting work for compliance. EPA HVAC certification, tools, and a valid driver’s license are required; on-call rotations apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or related experience and training.
• Experience in property maintenance or related trade.
• Must provide own hand tools and use them safely.
• Ability to read, write and communicate effectively with residents and team.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose defects and perform repairs per policies and safety standards.
• Oversee make-ready process for vacant units and coordinate vendors.
• Maintain grounds, exteriors, interiors to Greystar quality standards.
• Inspect work by others and contractors for quality and compliance.
• Assist in budgeting and cost-control; participate in safety meetings.
