Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the McAlpine Vista community in Charlotte, NC. The role requires diagnosing defects, performing routine upkeep, making-ready vacant units, and coordinating with vendors to maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and functionality.

You will contribute to budget planning, oversee quality checks, and support residents with timely service while adhering to Greystar policies and safety requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or related experience and training.
• Proficiency in customer service and interpersonal communication.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively for company support.

Responsibilities

• Assist and complete work orders from residents and diagnose defects.
• Oversee make-ready process for vacant units and coordinate vendors.
• Develop standards for cleanliness and appearance of grounds and buildings.
• Inspect work by team members and contractors for quality and compliance.
• Maintain inventory of parts and prepare budget with Community Manager.
• Perform monthly preventative maintenance per policy.
• Support cost-control and proper use of tools and materials.
• Lead safety meetings and ensure OSHA compliance.
• Provide courteous resident support and handle inquiries promptly.
