Challenge Manufacturing is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for a 3rd shift (9:00 PM–5:00 AM, Sunday–Thursday) at our Spartanburg, SC plant. You will lead maintenance activities to support production, ensure preventive maintenance, and uphold safety and quality standards.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years related maintenance experience or an equivalent combination of education and training, with strong problem solving, training record-keeping, and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Experience leading maintenance teams and driving safety and quality.
• Strong problem-solving and training record-keeping.
• Proficiency with basic computer tools and blueprint reading.

Responsabilités

• Manage processes with detailed accuracy, and discipline.
• Coaches and assist all employees with problem solving.
• Teaches, trains, and keeps accurate records of training.
• Ensures all quality standards are met.
• Ensures that preventive maintenance activities are performed properly and on-time.
• Pays close attention to detail. Example: Safety, Housekeeping, quality, performance, instructions given by management, and employee well-being.
• Incident reporting, and investigation of root cause for injuries, near misses, and mishits that occur on tools.
• Monitors employee attendance, and disciplines accordingly in accordance with the employee handbook.
• Manages maintenance team operations in accordance with expectations for safety, quality, performance, and attendance.
• Supports team members with completion of daily tasks.
• Conducts toolbox talks daily to ensure proper and consistent communication.
