Job summary

Challenge Manufacturing, a leading Tier 1 supplier of complex metal assemblies for the automotive industry, seeks a Maintenance Supervisor for 2nd shift (1:30 PM – 9:30 PM) at the Spartanburg, SC plant. You will oversee maintenance activities, train staff, and ensure safety and quality standards.

The role requires a minimum of 10 years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience; a Bachelor's Degree is preferred, or HS Diploma/GED with 3–5 years maintenance

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree from a 4-year college or university or HS Diploma/GED with 3-5 years of maintenance experience preferred.
• Demonstrates honesty, integrity, and reliability in completing tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Department Manager in monitoring, planning, and implementing maintenance work to support production and preventive maintenance.
• Coach and train maintenance staff, keep training records, and ensure quality standards are met.
• Lead toolbox talks and monitor safety, housekeeping, and tool usage; report incidents and investigate root causes.
