Job summary

Openwork is seeking a 3rd Shift Maintenance Supervisor in Spartanburg, SC to lead maintenance technicians and ensure reliable, safe production on nights. You will troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, manage preventive maintenance, and drive continuous improvement on the plant floor.

The ideal candidate has 3–5+ years of hands-on industrial maintenance experience in manufacturing, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to read schematics and equipment

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of hands-on industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and equipment manuals.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Previous leadership experience, PLC knowledge, and CMMS experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and support maintenance technicians during 3rd shift.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns and minimize production downtime.
• Manage preventive maintenance programs, work orders, and equipment repairs.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), and workplace safety procedures.
