Job summary

Friedman Real Estate is hiring an On-site Maintenance Supervisor in Michigan to oversee maintenance and grounds teams, coordinate with vendors, and manage make-ready turns for residential properties. The role includes completing work orders, performing preventative maintenance, and addressing HVAC system needs.

Applicants should have 4–5 years in on-site maintenance at multi-family properties with 1–2 years in a supervisory capacity, and(HVAC) certification is required or strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• 4–5 years of on-site maintenance experience in multi-family/residential properties.
• 1–2 years of supervisory experience.
• Knowledge of make-ready turns, with light carpentry, plumbing and electrical skills.
• HVAC certification is required or HVAC knowledge strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance and grounds personnel and assign tasks.
• Oversee ongoing maintenance needs, including preventative maintenance and repairs.
• Coordinate with vendors for contracted services and capital projects.
• Prepare apartments for make-ready turns and complete work service requests.
• Perform preventative maintenance and repair on HVAC and other systems.
• Respond to after-hours emergencies; snow removal and grounds upkeep as needed.

Do you have at least 4 years of on-site maintenance work experience in Multi-Family/Residential properties and at least 1 year of supervisory experience? As Maintenance Supervisor at you will be responsible for overseeing maintenance and grounds personnel, overseeing maintenance and preventative maintenance needs, working with vendors, prepping apartments for make-ready turns, completing work service requests, and preventative maintenance and repair on HVAC systems.
