Job summary

Friedman Real Estate is seeking a Maintenance Technician to prep apartments for make-ready turns and handle general on-site maintenance tasks. The role includes responding to service requests, performing preventative maintenance on HVAC systems, and addressing after-hours emergencies as needed.

Candidates should have two years of maintenance experience in multi-family properties, a valid driver’s license, and basic tools.

Qualifications

• Strong on-site maintenance knowledge.
• Two years of maintenance experience in multi-family/residential properties.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Knowledge of make-ready unit turns, including light carpentry, plumbing and electrical.

Responsibilities

• Prep apartments for make-ready turns.
• Perform general maintenance tasks as needed.
• On-call for after-hours emergency calls.
• Snow removal and grounds maintenance of common areas.
• Preventative maintenance and repair on HVAC and other mechanical systems.
• Complete work orders for service requests (plumbing, carpentry, electrical).
