Job summary

Friedman Real Estate is seeking an on-site Maintenance Technician in Lawrence, KS. The role focuses on preparing apartments for make-ready turns, responding to work orders, and performing preventative maintenance on HVAC and other mechanical systems.

The ideal candidate has two years of maintenance experience in multi-family properties, a valid driver’s license, and a proactive, reliable attitude. A basic toolset is required, with further responsibilities including snow removal and grounds

Qualifications

• Two years of maintenance experience in multi-family/residential properties.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Familiarity with light carpentry, plumbing and electrical tasks.
• basic set of tools required.
• HVAC certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prep apartments for make-ready turns.
• Complete work orders for service requests.
• Perform preventative maintenance on HVAC and other systems.
• Respond to after-hours service calls on a on-call basis.
• Snow removal and grounds maintenance of common areas.
