Job summary

The Morgan Group is seeking a Maintenance professional for one or more multifamily communities in Houston, TX. You will help maintain buildings, perform preventive tasks, and ensure safety and property standards across the site.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to MORGAN’s Maintenance, Emergency Procedures, Leasing and Marketing, Management and Operations manuals and Team Member Handbook.
• Monitor building systems, fire, electrical, security, elevators; report unsafe areas to Lead Maintenance.
• Inspect the community and report hazards to Lead Maintenance.
• Perform all work in compliance with OSHA and MORGAN Operations manual.
• Maintain a workplace that adheres to safety standards.
• Maintain flammable and hazardous materials in a safe area; ensure SDS on all chemicals.
• Assist to maintain all common areas.
• Assist preventive maintenance for building interiors/exteriors including pools, HVAC, lighting, etc.
• Respond to service requests within 24 hours; ensure timely completion.
• Ensure vacant units are market ready within 7 days.
• Maintain inventory of tools and supplies.
• Keep area neat and organized daily.
• Comply with all training requirements for this position.
• Perform essential Job Functions as business dictates.
• Build relationships with associates across departments and with on-site property management personnel.
