Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to uphold the quality and safety of our apartment communities in Tempe. You will diagnose and repair building systems, perform routine upkeep, and manage make-ready tasks to prepare homes for leasing with attention to safety and code requirements.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, EPA HVAC certifications, and experience in building maintenance. A valid driver’s license, good communication, and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or related experience and training.
• Experience in property management maintenance or related trade.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively.
• Proficiency with hand/power tools and safety procedures.
• Customer service and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair building systems and complete work orders from residents.
• Oversee and complete make-ready process for vacant units and schedule vendors.
• Develop and maintain cleanliness and appearance standards across grounds and common areas.
• Inspect work performed by team members and contractors for quality and safety.
• Maintain inventory of parts and supplies; assist with budgeting for repairs.
