Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to oversee and perform essential upkeep for apartment communities. You will diagnose and repair issues, complete make-ready tasks for new move-ins, and manage safety and quality across grounds, buildings, and amenities.

Ideal candidates have HVAC knowledge, experience with tools, and strong customer service skills. A high school diploma or GED is required, with willingness to work flexible hours and travel between properties as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in property maintenance or related trade is required.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools, and measuring devices.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to read, write, and follow policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair defects in vacant and occupied units and common areas.
• Manage the make-ready process including inspections, punch lists, and scheduling contractors.
• Maintain grounds, exteriors, and amenities to Greystar standards of safety and appearance.
• Inspect work by others and contractors for quality and compliance.
