Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to support Highland Park and Tempe properties, performing technical and mechanical work to ensure buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas meet safety and quality standards.

The role involves completing work orders, pre-move-in prep, inventory control, and timely documentation. EPA refrigerant certifications and a valid driver’s license are required; occasional on-call evenings, weekends, and travel to other properties may occur.

Qualifications

• EPA Type 1 and II (or Universal) refrigerant certifications are required.
• Valid driver’s license to operate golf carts on property, if applicable.
• All required state and local certifications must be held by the technician.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders and preventative maintenance to diagnose defects and perform repairs per policy and safety standards.
• Completes the make-ready process for vacant units, including pre-move-out inspection, punch list creation, scheduling vendors, and ensuring tasks are completed.
• Follows procedures to access materials, tracks inventory, and notifies supervisor about re-ordering needs.
• Documents work performed for proper tracking of service requests.
• Assists in maintaining grounds and amenities by cleaning and painting as needed and supporting cost-control practices by fixing rather than replacing parts when feasible.
• May inspect work by contractors to ensure quality and adherence to scope and specifications.
