Job summary

Greystar in Tempe, AZ seeks a Service Technician to perform maintenance ensuring buildings meet safety and quality standards. You will diagnose issues, repair systems, and complete approved work orders.

You will manage make-ready tasks for vacant units, inspect vendors, track materials, and maintain documentation. The role requires OSHA safety awareness, valid licenses, and willingness to work flexible hours.

Qualifications

• EPA Type 1 and II or Universal refrigerant certifications.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on-site.
• All state/local certifications required for service technicians.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair defects on the property according to policy and code.
• Complete make-ready process for vacant units and coordinate with vendors.
• Track inventory and request re-orders; maintain documentation for service requests.
• Assist with grounds, cleaning, painting, and minor repairs as needed.
• Support cost-control by repairing rather than replacing parts when feasible.
