Job summary

Greystar Worldwide, LLC in Tempe, AZ is seeking a Property Maintenance Technician to ensure the physical aspects of the buildings and common areas meet the company’s standards for safety, cleanliness, and overall functionality.

You will diagnose and repair, complete work orders, prepare vacant units for leasing, supervise contractors, and support grounds upkeep while following safety policies and maintaining accurate records.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or related experience and/or training.
• 2 years minimum experience in property management maintenance, other building maintenance, or related trade.
• EPA certifications Type I and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling (Applies to Certified Service Technicians).
• Incumbents must have all certifications as required by State and Local jurisdictions.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests for service and preventative maintenance.
• Completes the “make-ready” process to prepare vacant apartment homes for leasing and move-ins.
• Follows procedures for obtaining materials and tracking inventory in the maintenance department.
• Completes documentation and paperwork to document and track service requests.
• Assists in maintaining grounds, common areas, and amenities and performs general cleaning and painting as needed.
• Inspects work performed by contractors to verify quality and adherence to specifications.
