Job summary

Southern Management Co. is seeking an Apartment Maintenance Service Coordinator to serve as the first point of contact for residents needing maintenance in their homes.

The role requires strong organization, multitasking, and excellent written and verbal communication to deliver outstanding customer service. You will coordinate service requests, manage work orders, communicate with vendors, and ensure accurate documentation of technician hours.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills required.
• Ability to keep neat and accurate records and follow directions.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate incoming service requests for residents.
• Manage work order process for resident requests, turnovers, scheduled maintenance and after-hours emergencies.
• Communicate with vendors regarding scheduled work.
• Ensure service technician hours are documented per quality standards.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with team members, customers and vendors.
• Deliver high levels of service to all customers and team members.
• Contribute to a positive work culture and community engagement.
• Perform other duties as assigned by manager or supervisor.
