Job summary

Novo is seeking an organized Maintenance Coordinator to support a 223-unit apartment portfolio. You will ensure every work order is assigned, followed up on, and closed out, while keeping residents informed throughout.

Responsibilities include managing work orders in Yardi, coordinating with maintenance staff and vendors, and maintaining clear communications with residents and management. Must be able to work full-time, Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm ET, and complete a background check; bilingual in

• Resident follow-up: follow up with residents on the status of their requests and confirm issues resolved.
• Materials: order materials and supplies when needed to complete repairs.
• Coordination: keep on-site team and management updated on open items, priorities, and delays.

Responsibilities

• Work order management. Monitor incoming work orders in Yardi, assign them to the right maintenance team member or vendor, and track them through completion.
• Close-out. Confirm work is complete and close out work orders accurately and on time.
• Resident follow-up. Follow up with residents on the status of their requests and confirm their issues were resolved.
• Materials. Order materials and supplies when needed to complete repairs.
• Coordination. Keep the on-site team and management updated on open items, priorities, and delays.
• Previous experience as a maintenance coordinator.
• Strong organization skills and the ability to manage a high volume of open requests at once.
• Clear, professional written and verbal communication with residents and team members.
• Availability to work full-time, Monday through Friday, 9am to 5pm ET.
• Willingness to complete a background check.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Desired, not required: Experience with Yardi (training is provided). Experience in residential or multifamily property management.
