Job summary

Penske is seeking a Customer Service Coordinator in Earth City, MO to schedule preventative maintenance, coordinate outside repairs, and manage shop work plans. The role focuses on maximizing customer service and productivity by aligning parts, technicians, and schedules.

Qualifications

• 2 years of customer service experience required.
• At least 1 year of hands on mechanical experience required.
• 2 years of supervisory experience preferred.
• At least 2 years of service department administration preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Associates Degree, Technical School Degree, or Bachelors Degree preferred.
• ASE certification preferred.
• Prior experience with service scheduling programs and diagnostic programs preferred.
• Understand and comply with Penske management instructions, guidelines, rules and regulations.
• Must perform all work adhering to DOT, OSHA, and Penske safety policies; use of tools and PPE as required.
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is essential.
• Willingness to travel as necessary and pass background checks and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Develop daily and weekly workforce plans based on customer needs, repairs, parts, and technician skills.
• Communicate maintenance updates and billing concerns with customers.
• Ensure Penske Rental units are maintained and prepared for customers.
• Ensure parts are available for scheduled work.
• Hold vendors accountable for quality and adherence to schedule for outside work.
• Provide customer service to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
• Maintain shop productivity by optimizing the work plan.
• Coordinate with district billing clerks as necessary.
• Support other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor.
