Job summary

Penske is seeking a Customer Service Coordinator in Houston to schedule preventive maintenance, coordinate outside repairs, and manage the shop work plan. The role requires coordinating with customers on updates, billing concerns, and service issues, while ensuring Penske Rental units are ready for customers.

The position involves optimizing the work plan, managing parts availability, and coordinating with district billing clerks. Shift: 1st shift 7am–4pm, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is required.
• Supervisory experience is preferred.
• Associates/Tech/BS degree preferred.
• ASE certification is a plus.
• Experience with service scheduling and diagnostic software is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop daily and weekly workforce plans by considering customer needs, repairs, parts, and technician skills to maximize productivity.
• Communicate maintenance updates and billing concerns with customers and resolve service issues.
• Ensure Penske Rental units are maintained and ready for customers.
• Maintain availability of parts for scheduled work and coordinate with outside vendors.
