Job summary

Penske Truck Leasing is seeking a Customer Service Coordinator in Fort Worth, TX. The role focuses on scheduling preventative maintenance, coordinating outside repairs, and managing the shop work plan to maximize productivity and customer satisfaction.

The position requires strong customer service, mechanical experience, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, safety-conscious environment. The shift runs Monday–Friday, 2:30PM–11:00PM, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of customer service experience.
• At least 1 year of hands-on mechanical experience required.
• 2 years of supervisory experience preferred.
• 2 years of service department administration preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Develop daily and weekly workforce plans balancing customer needs, repairs, parts, technician skills, and hours.
• Communicate with customers for maintenance updates, scheduling changes, billing concerns, and issue resolution.
• Ensure Penske Rental units are maintained and prepared for customers.
• Maintain parts availability for scheduled work.
• Hold vendors accountable for quality and timeliness of outside work.
• Provide excellent customer service to encourage repeat business.
• Optimize the shop work plan to sustain productivity.
• Coordinate with district billing clerks as needed.
• Support other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor.
