Job summary

Essex Property Trust in Seattle, WA seeks an Operations (Maintenance) Coordinator to support maintenance operations across the portfolio. You will coordinate service requests, schedule vendors, create purchase orders, and track work orders with SightPlan, working closely with General Operations Managers and Maintenance Supervisors.

The role is primarily in-person at an Essex office with on-site inspections, training, and occasional travel; strong planning and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with property management or CRM software.
• Prior experience in customer service or property management is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage and prioritize service requests using SightPlan.
• Schedule inspections with residents, in person or virtually.
• Create purchase orders for vendor services and track related work orders.
• Schedule vendors for unit turnovers based on inspection findings.
• Monitor turnover and maintenance work orders to ensure timely completion.
• Respond to onsite emergencies and coordinate with the onsite team.
