Job summary

Asset Living is seeking a Porter to assist in carrying out maintenance tasks across the property, from corrective to cosmetic work. You will also support in keeping grounds and common areas clean, responding to service requests, and aiding in on-call emergencies under supervision.

The role requires a high school diploma, basic computer literacy, and awareness of housing and safety regulations. A hard-working, customer-focused approach is essential for daily resident interactions.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
• Ability to understand and perform on-site software functions; basic computer skills are required.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist in carrying out maintenance processes including corrective, preventative, routine, and cosmetic tasks.
• Respond to resident/management requests and work orders promptly.
• Maintain grounds, buildings, and common areas; conduct daily inspections to identify hazards.
• Participate in on-call emergencies and support the Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager.
