Job summary

Asset Living is seeking a Porter to assist with maintenance at our community. You will perform corrective, preventive, routine, and cosmetic maintenance under supervision and support the make-ready process to meet operational objectives.

The role requires daily on-site presence and a focus on safety and quality in upkeep of grounds, buildings, and common areas. You will respond to resident requests and work orders promptly, perform inspections to minimize hazards, and assist the Maintenance

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
• Basic computer skills and ability to use on-site software.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist in carrying out maintenance processes (corrective, preventative, routine, cosmetic) under supervision.
• Perform daily maintenance of grounds, buildings, breezeways, and common areas.
• Respond to resident/management requests and work orders promptly.
• Ensure repairs and replacements are completed in a timely manner.
• Inspect facilities to identify hazards and preventive maintenance needs.
• Maintain a clean, organized maintenance shop and follow safety standards.
• Participate in on-call emergencies at the community.
• Support customer and resident relations to ensure satisfaction.
