Job summary

Asset Living is seeking a Porter to assist in carrying out maintenance processes across our communities. You will perform routine and cosmetic maintenance under supervision, ensuring timely repairs and upkeep of grounds, buildings, and common areas.

The role requires a high school diploma, basic computer skills, and knowledge of safety regulations. On-site attendance is essential, and candidates may participate in on-call shifts and emergency coverage as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Ability to understand and perform all on-site software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Community maintenance and on-site duties as assigned by Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager.
• Regular/daily onsite attendance is required.
• Responsible for cleaning, trash removal, and general maintenance of grounds, buildings, and common areas.
• Respond to resident/management requests and work orders in a timely manner.
• Ensure repairs and replacements for grounds, buildings, and common areas are completed timely.
• Inspect grounds and buildings daily to identify hazards and ensure safety.
• Participate in a preventative maintenance program to extend asset life.
