Job summary

SP+, a Metropolis Company, is hiring a facilities maintenance role in our New York location. You will perform cleaning, basic repairs and safety checks while assisting customers and staff.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver’s license, and flexibility for 3rd shift or weekends. Training is provided and benefits include medical, dental and a 401(k).

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or a combination of experience and education.
• May require facility maintenance, electrical and/or painting experience.
• Valid state driver's license if driving a company vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and cleaning tasks per checklists and supervisor directions.
• Walk garage daily to identify and fix maintenance problems.
• Sweep entrances, clean rails, and maintain restrooms and office areas.
• Replace burned out bulbs and manage minor repairs when needed.
• Report repairs or safety hazards to the Facility Manager.
• Assist customers and maintain professional appearance and attitude.
• Maintain inventory and comply with safety policies.
