Job summary

CERTAINTEED SAINT-GOBAIN is seeking a Maintenance Planner for our Oxford, NC facility. The role focuses on planning, scheduling, and coordinating all plannable maintenance work, maintaining records, and supervising the Storeroom Attendant.

You will reduce downtime, develop PM programs, and ensure timely work order closure while aligning with plant policies. The position requires a High School Diploma and CMMS experience, with a preference for a Bachelor's degree and 5+ years in industrial

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required; a Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• 5+ years in industrial maintenance (preferred).
• 3 years of experience using a CMMS (required).
• Knowledge of storeroom policies and SAP/UKG, Windows apps (Excel/Word/Outlook).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills (required).

Responsibilities

• Minimize downtime and interruptions to operations.
• Develop and review PM programs for effectiveness.
• Publish weekly schedules based on capacity planning.
• Provide procedures for completing work and closing work orders.
• Maintain accurate backlog and track completion of tasks.
• Oversee storeroom activities and parts requisitions.
• Coordinate maintenance shutdown planning and day-to-day work.
• Liaise between operations and maintenance and ensure safety permits.
