Job summary

National Gypsum Company seeks a Maintenance Scheduler/Planner to optimize maintenance activities across facilities and equipment. You will plan and coordinate tasks, manage resources, and minimize downtime while ensuring safety and compliance.

Responsibilities include developing preventive/predictive maintenance, managing work orders, optimizing schedules, controlling parts/inventory, documenting performance, and driving continuous improvement in collaboration with maintenance teams.

Qualifications

• BS Engineering or equivalent technical education.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance Planning: develop comprehensive maintenance plans with teams, prioritize tasks, allocate resources.
• Preventive Maintenance: create and manage preventive/predictive maintenance schedules with technicians.
• Work Order Management: review and assign work orders with clear instructions and durations.
• Schedule Optimization: optimize labor, materials, and equipment to minimize downtime.
• Parts and Inventory Management: coordinate procurement and maintain stock levels for maintenance.
• Documentation and Reporting: keep detailed maintenance histories and performance reports.
• Continuous Improvement: identify and drive process improvements in maintenance.
