Job summary

Rocky Mountain Steel Mills is hiring a Maintenance Planner for our Pueblo, CO plant. You will arrange maintenance tasks, ensure safety rules, and improve maintenance procedures to reduce downtime and increase reliability.

Strong planning, organization, and cross-functional collaboration are essential. The role involves developing PMs, CBM, and PM plans, assisting in budgets, and leveraging CMMS data to drive improvements.

Qualifications

• Two-year degree in mechanical or electrical fields or equivalent experience.
• CMMS experience, preferably Oracle eAM.
• Strong planning, organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify assets and develop work plans for preventive and corrective maintenance with instructions, estimates, materials, and tools for PM/CBM activities.
• Assist in developing maintenance budgets and CAPEX repair projects.
• Coordinate maintenance priorities with maintenance and operations; maintain 45 days of PM visibility.
• Create and maintain electronic library of procedures, JSAs, checklists, drawings, and contractor scopes.
• Monitor downtime, cost summaries, schedule compliance, and PM compliance; provide performance reports.
