Job summary

Orion Steel Group, L.L.C. in Pueblo, CO, is seeking a Maintenance Planner to join the Asset Maintenance team at our plant. The role focuses on arranging maintenance tasks, ensuring safety, and improving maintenance procedures for reliability and reduced downtime.

The successful candidate will develop plans for upkeep tasks, predictive and preventive maintenance, and coordinate with cross-functional teams. A two-year degree or apprenticeship with five years of industry experience is preferred;

Qualifications

• Two-year degree or equivalent in mechanical/electrical field, or apprenticeship; five years in industrial manufacturing environment preferred.
• Proficient with CMMS planning (Oracle eAM preferred).
• Strong technical writing and computer skills (MS Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Familiarity with condition-based monitoring tools and blueprint reading.

Responsibilities

• Identify assets and develop work plans for preventive and corrective maintenance activities with detailed instructions, labor estimates, materials and tools.
• Assist in developing maintenance budgets including CAPEX repair projects
• Coordinate maintenance work priorities with maintenance and operations; maintain visibility for PMs 45 days ahead
• Maintain an electronic library of procedures, JSAs, checklists, drawings, contractor scopes
• Monitor and report on downtime, cost summaries, schedule and PM compliance
• Assist Maintenance Supervisor with schedules and performance reports
• Leverage data analysis and predictive maintenance to monitor equipment performance
• Identify trends to proactively tackle maintenance issues and improve reliability
