Energy Jobline ZR is seeking a Maintenance Planner to support maintenance and production processes at our Traverse City, MI facility. This role suits someone with light maintenance or hands-on experience who is reliable and detail‑oriented, able to work with minimal supervision during off‑shift hours.

The position emphasizes practical problem‑solving and learning our equipment and processes rather than being highly technical, with no required software experience. Off‑shift flexibility is welcome.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role such as light maintenance or related hands‑on technical position.
• Reliable, dependable work ethic and consistent attendance.
• Ability to work independently on off‑shifts with limited supervision.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Solid troubleshooting skills with ability to explain how problems were resolved.
• Willingness to build machine and process knowledge across maintenance and production quality.
• Team‑first mindset: respectful, even‑keeled and high integrity.
• Open to working 2nd or 3rd shift.

Responsibilities

• Complete daily, weekly, and monthly preventive maintenance (PM) checklists.
• Support maintenance, process, and quality tasks to keep production running smoothly.
• Monitor and help improve product quality on the line and address issues.
• Troubleshoot equipment and processes; diagnose root causes and implement fixes.
• Apply Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures safely.
• Promote a strong safety culture on the floor.
• Communicate clearly with machine operators.
• Collaborate with Maintenance Manager and team to maintain a positive environment.
