Job summary

LG Energy Solution Michigan, Inc. is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead day-to-day manufacturing activities on site in Holland, MI.

You will supervise hourly team members, coordinate staffing, schedules, and equipment utilization to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality production. The position emphasizes coaching, performance management, and collaboration with Quality, Maintenance, Engineering, and Safety to resolve issues and drive continuous improvement while maintaining a respectful,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3–6+ years in manufacturing, production, or related environment.
• 1–3+ years in leadership or supervising roles.
• Working knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality, and safety requirements.
• Experience interpreting production schedules, work instructions, and procedures.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate daily production activities to meet safety, quality, and productivity goals.
• Plan and establish work schedules, production sequences, and resources based on requirements.
• Review schedules, work orders, and data to determine production needs.
• Monitor KPIs, identify gaps, and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure SOPs and quality requirements are followed across shifts.
• Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, and Engineering to resolve issues.
• Lead shift handoffs, meetings, and 5S/5S3R practices.
• Provide coaching and performance management to team members.
• Assist in hiring, training, and development of staff.
• Maintain documentation and records as required.
