The ARP/Maintenance Planner will coordinate, direct, and support the implementation and sustainability of Asset Reliability Processes (ARP) to enhance safety, equipment reliability, and product quality efficiently and cost-effectively by:
This role is advisory, supporting and coordinating ARP maintenance management for scheduled and project maintenance to improve equipment reliability. The position facilitates down-days and outages by planning work with operations, maintenance, reliability, and engineering teams. It involves planning and scheduling proactive maintenance and project work across assigned locations.
The incumbent will develop detailed job plans for all planned maintenance, predictive, and preventive technologies in collaboration with various technical and operational teams. The role provides technical assistance, maximizes equipment reliability, and facilitates planning meetings. Due to the manufacturing environment, work on scheduled shutdowns and availability for specific operations or projects are required, with some travel for training.
This position reports to a Reliability Engineer IV or V, working closely with operations and maintenance. Responsibilities include building job plans, ordering parts, managing work backlog, and ensuring data accuracy. The role involves modifications to maintenance programs to reduce costs and downtime, requiring excellent communication skills, independence, and broad software knowledge.
The ARP Planner participates in training programs and must communicate effectively across organizational levels. The role also involves managing other projects or duties as assigned, ensuring compliance with environmental and safety regulations, and reporting potential health or environmental hazards.
Requires a two-year degree or advanced technical training with at least 5 years of experience in heavy manufacturing or related maintenance engineering. The candidate should possess mastery of maintenance concepts, asset reliability systems, and current technology, with a focus on continual process improvement.
