Job description

This position is fully remote.
Worker must follow schedule: 8am-5pm EASTERN time zone, Monday-Friday.

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Maintenance Planner and Scheduler to join our team. The Maintenance Planner and Scheduler will be responsible for planning, scheduling, and coordinating preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs within our Computer Maintenance Management System (CMMS). This role will also involve working on project activities. The ideal candidate will have experience in industrial plant maintenance, maintenance planning systems, and project management.

Responsibilities:

1. Plan and schedule all maintenance work using the SAP module in our Automated Maintenance Management (AMM) system.
2. Utilize and maintain the Maintenance Management System to schedule maintenance work and the Preventive Maintenance Program.
3. Create preventative maintenance task lists and plans for associated equipment.
4. Work with the maintenance workforce and technicians on the floor and with the equipment.
5. Develop and maintain a complete Maintenance library of all project files, equipment maintenance and operating manuals, drawings, and catalogs.
6. Coordinate with project teams to ensure maintenance activities align with project timelines and objectives.
7. Scrutinize parts lists for accuracy and appropriate stocking levels based on use, manufacture recommendations, critical spares, and current and newly installed equipment.
8. Monitor and track project progress, ensuring maintenance tasks are completed on time and within budget.
9. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve any maintenance-related issues that may impact project timelines.
10. Provide regular updates and reports on maintenance and project activities to management.

Requirements:

1. High School Diploma or GED required.
2. 3+ years of experience in manufacturing or industrial plant utilizing SAP to plan and schedule maintenance activities.
3. 5+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial, military, or related environment performing corrective, preventative, and predictive maintenance.
4. Ability to work with shifting priorities and on multiple projects simultaneously.
5. Strong organizational and time management skills.
6. Highly proficient in utilizing SAP and other relevant systems for maintenance activities.
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
8. Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
9. Experience with projects and project activities.
