Shift : Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm

Location : 2600 Westhall Lane , Maitland, FL 32751 (Hybrid)

Float between Maitland, Winter Garden and Apopka as needed.

The role you’ll contribute:

This position is responsible for maximizing work force productivity and work quality by anticipating and eliminating potential delays through planning and coordination of work order labor, parts and material, permits, equipment, and area access. The Maintenance Planner will also coordinate with the Maintenance Supervisors on work order scheduling to minimize impacts to hospital operations. They will assit the Engineering Manager and Engineering Director in short-range and long-range planning and other duties as assigned.

The value you’ll bring to the team:

• Monitor all incoming work orders and coordinate with the requesters to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Plan each work order to ensure the technicians have the appropriate time , tools, parts, permits, and area access to complete the work orders.
• Initiate, coordinate and supervise contractor/vendor repair activities.
• Respond to all inquiries regarding maintenance, repairs and other department activities.
• Perform assigned corrective maintenance tasks as required .
• Ensure availability of spare parts, tools and equipment, working closely with the Logistics Manager.

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:

Minimum qualifications :

• High School Grad or Equiv
• 4+ years facility maintenance experience
• DL NUMBER - Driver License, Valid and in State
  

Preferred qualifications :

• Working knowledge of computized maintenance management systems (CMMS) like PeopleSoft (or equivalent)
