The Asset Reliability Process (ARP)/Maintenance Planner will provide coordination, direction, and support for implementing and sustaining Asset Reliability Processes (ARP) to improve safety, equipment reliability, and product quality at optimum efficiency and costs. Responsibilities include:
This position supports and coordinates ARP maintenance management for scheduled and project maintenance to improve equipment reliability. It does not have direct reports but facilitates down-days and outages by establishing planned work with operations, maintenance, reliability, and engineering teams. The ARP Planner coordinates work execution during down-days and outages to ensure compliance and quality. The role involves planning and scheduling proactive maintenance and project work across assigned locations.
The primary responsibility is planning and coordinating proactive maintenance activities, including involvement in projects to enhance equipment reliability. The ARP Planner develops job plans with reliability technicians, engineers, operations, and suppliers. The role provides technical assistance, maximizes equipment reliability, and facilitates planning meetings. Willingness to work during scheduled shutdowns and travel for training is required. The position reports to a Reliability Engineer and works closely with operations and maintenance teams. Key duties include building detailed job plans, ordering parts, managing backlog, and ensuring data accuracy. The role also involves modifying maintenance programs for cost and downtime reduction, training personnel, and managing environmental and safety compliance.
Requires a two-year degree or advanced technical training plus at least five years of experience in heavy manufacturing or related maintenance engineering. Must have mastery knowledge of maintenance concepts, asset reliability systems, and current technology. The candidate should demonstrate expertise in asset reliability, with the ability to recommend improvements and stay updated on technological advances.
