Position Summary

Responsible for independently applying advanced scheduling and planning techniques and analysis within a project environment.

Primary Responsibilities

1. Perform all aspects of planning/scheduling
2. Monitor job progress according to schedules
3. Coordinate with material expediters concerning critical items of supply
4. Participate in expenditure forecasts
5. Coordinate PM activities to production requirements
6. Schedule maintenance to minimize equipment downtime and impact on production
7. Maintain parts inventory
8. Create procedural manuals explaining task procedures
9. Estimate costs of labor and parts for industrial equipment
10. Adjust schedules for emergency work
11. Assist and support Maintenance Manager
12. Serve as a liaison between maintenance and operations
13. Maintain records and files essential to maintenance management
14. Coordinate with maintenance staff, contractors, and external vendors
15. Prepare preventative maintenance plans aligned with organizational goals

Qualifications

1. Minimum 4 years industrial construction/maintenance industry experience (if no formal schooling)
2. Experience with SAP, P3, P6, Microsoft Projects, or similar tools
3. Ability to build, maintain schedules, and produce reports
4. Assist or lead cost analyses, resource loading, and projections
5. Capable of leading outage meeting updates
6. Good verbal and written communication skills
