Maintenance Mechanic - Milwaukee, WI:

Shift hours:
Currently hiring for 2nd and 3rd shifts, but must be open to working off-shifts when needed.

• 2nd shift: 2:30 PM to 10:30 PM
• 3rd shift: 10:30 PM to 6:30 AM
• Ability and willingness to work overtime, weekends, and holidays
• Plant operates 24/7

Pay: $35.74-39.27 per hour

What your day will look like:

• Creating high-quality foods enjoyed nationwide daily
• Utilizing advanced technology in a leading industry facility
• Collaborating with experienced operators eager to pass down knowledge and learn from new team members
• Challenging yourself to perform tasks accurately and gain valuable skills
• Installing, maintaining, repairing, and replacing processing and packaging machinery
• Identifying and troubleshooting mechanical issues
• Supporting equipment troubleshooting and modifications
• Performing welding, fabrication, and utility repairs
• Installing and maintaining electrical and electronic systems
• Participating in root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives
• Training new employees and performing other duties as needed

What you have to offer:

• High school diploma or GED
• At least 5 years of industrial maintenance experience or related education
• Knowledge of PLCs, HVAC, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
• Machining or metal fabrication experience preferred
• Problem-solving skills within standard procedures
• Basic computer skills including MS Office and Maximo
• Basic electrical troubleshooting skills, with willingness to learn more

Physical requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Capability to perform physical tasks for extended periods, including standing, walking, climbing, and bending
• Willingness to work at heights and around moving machinery
• Adherence to safety and grooming standards
• Ability to work in various environmental conditions and with allergens
