Job summary

The Scion Group LLC is seeking a Maintenance Manager to ensure safety and operability of multi-unit residential properties. You will lead onsite facilities teams, coordinate third-party vendors, and drive preventive maintenance programs to meet Scion’s standards.

The role requires strong leadership, budgeting, and a hands-on approach in a fast-paced environment. Facilities experience across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and life-safety systems is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, trade school diploma, or military training.
• EPA 608 Universal certification is required.
• CPO certification or intent to obtain within six months.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to stand for long hours.

Responsibilities

• Manage all building services and preventative maintenance programs per SOPs and regulations.
• Supervise day-to-day operations including HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and building systems.
• Monitor systems, diagnostics, preventative maintenance, annual testing, permitting, and certification for major systems.
• Operate life safety systems including fire pumps, alarms, and extinguishers.
• Prioritize and schedule maintenance work; manage Facilities Technicians.
• Manage facilities budgets and document work for standards compliance.
• Review completed work orders for labor hours and costs; ensure timely repairs.
• Oversee vendor bids, contracted work, and safety procedures.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and tools; coordinate with General Manager.
• Inspect properties and prepare reports with findings and recommendations.
• Lead Turnovers by inspecting vacated units and ensuring readiness for occupancy.
