Job summary

The Scion Group is seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to lead the onsite maintenance team at a multi‑unit property. You will manage preventive maintenance, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, fire protection, and BAS systems while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

The role requires strong leadership, problem solving, and the ability to coordinate third-party vendors and internal staff in a fast-paced, collegiate environment. Travel between properties may be required.

Qualifications

• 8 years of relevant experience managing building systems in multi-unit residential properties.
• 5 years of supervisory experience are required.
• EPA 608 Universal certification and HVAC knowledge are required.
• Certified Pool Operator or plan to obtain within six months.
• Ability to read blueprints and maintain documents for major systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee preventive maintenance programs meeting SOPs and safety standards.
• Manage operations including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, life-safety and building automation systems.
• Coordinate vendors, inspections, and emergency repairs; supervise Facilities Technicians.
• Prepare reports, track budgets, and ensure compliance with codes/regulations.
• Lead Turn processes and ensure units are ready for occupancy after repairs.
