Job summary

The Scion Group LLC is seeking a Facilities Manager to ensure safety and functionality of the property’s buildings and equipment, while leading the onsite Facilities team and coordinating with third-party vendors. This role supports a fast-paced, agile environment and may assist other properties as needed.

Responsibilities include managing HVAC, plumbing, life safety, and building automation systems, with a focus on preventative maintenance, inspections, and timely repairs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED, trade school diploma, or military training.
• 8 years of relevant experience managing building systems in multi-unit residential properties, 5 years of supervisory experience.
• 5 years’ experience with building automation systems and life safety systems.
• EPA 608 Universal certification.
• HVAC/EPA 608 Universal certification.
• Certified Pool Operator (CPO), or intention to obtain within six months.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as design drawings, blueprints, safety guidelines, operating and maintenance instructions.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to stand 8 hours or longer per day and lift up to 100 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Manage all building services and preventative maintenance programs to industry standards and SOPs.
• Oversee day-to-day operations including HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and general maintenance.
• Monitor systems, provide diagnostics, preventive maintenance, and certifications for major building systems.
• Operate and manage life safety systems including fire pumps, alarms, detectors, and egress.
• Prioritize and schedule maintenance work; supervise Facilities Technicians.
• Manage facilities budgets and oversee contracted work with vendors.
• Ensure safety procedures, risk management, and regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate verticals from key management to inspections and reports.
