Job summary

Bozzuto is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our property operations team. You will perform preventive maintenance, resolve HVAC, electrical, plumbing and appliance issues, and prepare vacant apartments for move-in while upholding high standards of service for residents.

Qualifications

• Experience in building maintenance or an education in the trades.
• Beginner to intermediate proficiency in HVAC, plumbing, electrical and appliance repair.
• Availability for emergency situations at the property, including an on-call rotation.
• Ability to exert 25–50 pounds of force frequently, and 10–20 pounds constantly.
• Personal, reliable transportation and good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Show care and concern for residents through service ticket resolution and preventative maintenance.
• Resolve maintenance issues in HVAC, electrical, plumbing and appliance repair.
• Prepare vacant apartments for move-in through turnover repairs and improvements.
• Preserve the beauty of the building and the safety of the community through general upkeep and grounds maintenance.
• Provide residents with outstanding customer service.
• Work weekends or evenings and be on call for after hour emergencies.
