Job summary

Bozzuto is seeking a Maintenance Technician to uphold service excellence across our properties. You will handle preventative maintenance, repairs in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and appliances, and prepare units for move-in while keeping common areas safe and clean.

Qualifications

• Experience in building maintenance or an education in the trades.
• Beginner to intermediate proficiency in HVAC, plumbing, electrical and appliance repair.
• Availability for emergency situations at the property, including an on-call rotation.
• Ability to exert physical effort including lifting 25–50 pounds frequently.
• Reliable transportation to work and for on-call duties.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Professional appearance and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Show care for residents through service ticket resolution and preventative maintenance.
• Resolve maintenance issues in HVAC, electrical, plumbing and appliance repair.
• Prepare vacant apartments for move-in through turn-over repairs.
• Preserve building safety and cleanliness, including snow removal and grounds maintenance.
• Provide residents with outstanding customer service.
• Be available for weekends, evenings, and after-hours emergencies.
