Apartment Management Consultants (AMC) is seeking a Maintenance Manager to oversee maintenance operations and personnel, including supervision of housekeeping, custodial, and grounds teams, and to ensure safety compliance.

The role requires HVAC and CPO certifications, 2+ years in maintenance, and the ability to manage vendor work, respond to service requests, and schedule staff. On-call availability is required and a competitive benefits package is offered.

Qualifications

• HVAC certification required.
• CPO certification required.
• Minimum 2+ years in handyman or maintenance roles.
• Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
• Ability to maintain positive relationships with internal and external contacts.
• Self-motivated with attention to detail and independent judgment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise service personnel (housekeeping/custodial and grounds).
• Interview and hire staff and train service personnel.
• Manage staff performance, evaluation, and discipline.
• Schedule staff with property manager coordination.
• Perform daily maintenance tasks and handle turns and work orders.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas; ensure safety compliance.
• Oversee vendor work and manage inventory of supplies.
• Respond to on-call emergencies and 24-hour service requests.
