Job summary

Apartment Management Consultants (AMC) is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead our maintenance team and ensure upkeep of properties, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems. You will schedule daily tasks, prepare vacants, and coordinate with the community manager on staffing and vendor work.

You will train staff, maintain safety standards, and respond to emergencies and on-call requests. This role offers full-time hours and competitive compensation with benefits.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
• Ability to operate hand tools and power tools.
• Experience maintaining property grounds and structures.
• Supervisory experience preferred; able to lead maintenance staff.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily maintenance tasks and prepare vacant units for occupancy.
• Interview, screen, and recommend service/housekeeping/grounds personnel with manager.
• Train and supervise service, custodial, and grounds staff; ensure safety policies.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and inventory; manage vendor work when needed.
• Ensure OSHA standards and company safety policies are followed; on-call as required.
