Job summary

Insteel Industries is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the installation, repair, and preventive maintenance of production machinery in a heavy manufacturing setting. You will supervise multi-craft teams and coordinate daily work plans, safety procedures, and training to ensure optimum equipment utilization.

Candidate should have strong leadership, problem solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills, with extensive CMMS experience.

Qualifications

• Broad technical training (high school plus trades or 2-year degree).
• Seven years’ experience leading a manufacturing maintenance team.
• Experience with CMMS preferred.
• Steel wire manufacturing experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate maintenance of machinery and equipment.
• Lead teams dismantling, assembling and installing industrial machinery.
• Manage mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic maintenance and repair.
• Assist workers in diagnosing malfunctions and improving uptime.
• Plan labor and resources to meet production schedules.
