Job summary

CMC is seeking a skilled maintenance professional to join our team in a dynamic, heavy industrial environment. You will diagnose issues, perform preventive maintenance, and coordinate with technicians and contractors to keep systems operational.

You will utilize SAP for work orders and contribute to safety initiatives while ensuring high-quality work and adherence to procedures. This role requires adaptability to rotating shifts and a strong focus on reliability and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 5 years field experience in heavy industrial or manufacturing environments.
• Experience with welding, cutting, fabrication and equipment maintenance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Participates in Safety Programs and upholds the CMC Safety Culture.
• Diagnose malfunctioning systems and determine root cause using test equipment and tools.
• Use SAP maintenance module to execute duties and document time and corrective actions.
• Leads maintenance projects and coordinates with peers and contractors.
• Inspects equipment for defects and removes defective parts with proper tools.
• Prepares mechanical maintenance reports by collecting and summarizing information and trends.
